Chapter Scholarship
The Scholarship Committee of the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute is accepting applications for scholarships to be awarded for Year 2025. The scholarship fund was donated by James G. Taylor, MAI, SRA, in memory of his wife Maureen Taylor.
To apply for the award, one must complete an application and submit a letter that briefly describes your experience and intentions in the appraisal profession. Information must be included regarding applicant’s appraisal education, employment history, involvement in the appraisal industry (in and out of the Chapter), and any other information that would support the application. Reference letters in support of your application are welcome.
Applicants must be a member of the Long Island Chapter of the Appraisal Institute and must be a member in good standing for the 12 months before the application deadline to be eligible.

Scholarship(s) will be awarded at the Chapter Installation Dinner. Proof of payment and completed Appraisal Institute course(s) or seminar(s) must be submitted to the LIAI Chapter Executive Office by 12/31/26 or scholarship is forfeited.
