Dear friends and colleagues:
We are the just about at the mid-point of the 2016 term for Officers and Chapter Board members and summer is right around the corner.
Jonathan Miller started off the year’s dinner meetings/seminars with “Market and Appraisal Industry Outlook for 2016 and Beyond.” In March Ed Eschmann, MAI presented “Understanding Long Island and Metro New York Hospitality Properties”, and in May we were honored to have Kevin Maloney of PMG interviewed by Michael Stoler, regarding “Commercial Real Estate Projects – Development & Financing.”
A special thanks to Frank Notaro, MAI, SRA and Joe Petrocine, MAI for all their efforts to have Kevin Maloney address our chapter.
This Winter/Spring our chapter ran the 7 Hr. USPAP Update and several chapter-developed seminars. In April the chapter ran “Drone Technology and Its Impact on the Appraisal” presented by Lamar H. Ellis, III, MAI, SRA. This was followed in May by an Oheka Castle Guided Tour & Lunch with a 2 Hr. Seminar “Valuation of Long Island High Value and Historic Homes” presented by Matthew J. Guzowski, MAI. The chapter also had a social event at Citi Field with a Mets Game Outing on May 3rd.President's Message Archive
