LIAI Community Partnership

The Long Island Chapter and its members are committed to continuing and expanding our connection to the communities we call home.

Long Island’s growth on social, economic and cultural levels are vital to the continued quality of life that makes Long Island a great place to live and work. Our Chapter and its members are proud to collaborate with several like-minded organizations on a local and national level:

  • Socks for Soldiers is a non-profit charity organization that sends socks, gifts of love, and other donations to our troops deployed in the Middle East.

  • Soldiers’ Angels offers many wonderful programs to support military families, deployed service members, wounded service members and veterans.

  • The Lexiebean Foundation was created out of the need for financial and emotional support for families that are coping with pediatric cancer. Their mission is to help ease the financial and emotional burdens that childhood cancer places upon a family.

  • Created by AI and LIAI Chapter member Warren Hance and his wife, Jackie, the Hance Family Foundation honors the lives of their three beautiful daughters, Emma, Alyson and Katie, by ensuring happy, healthy and safe children through innovative self-esteem education programming and the support of children in need.

  • The Northport VA Medical Center intends to honor America’s veterans by providing exceptional care that improves their health and overall well-being.

  • The Morgan Center gives preschool age children battling cancer the opportunity to learn and socialize in a safe environment.
