The Long Island Chapter and its members are committed to continuing and expanding our connection to the communities we call home.  Long Island’s growth on social, economic and cultural levels are vital to the continued quality of life that makes Long Island a great place to live and work. Our Chapter and its members are proud to collaborate with several like-minded organizations on a local and national level:

Charity Organizations

Socks for Soldiers is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charity organization that is all about gifts of love to the soldiers in the Middle East. They show support to the troops by sending socks and other donations to our troops deployed in the Middle East.

Soldiers’ Angels offers many wonderful programs to support military families, deployed service members, wounded service members and veterans.

The Appraisal Institute Relief Foundation was incorporated in December 2005 as a charitable not-for-profit organization. The purpose of the Foundation is to provide emergency financial assistance to Designated members, Candidates, Practicing Affiliates, Affiliates, employees (and their dependents) of the Appraisal Institute, and to individuals who have made meaningful contributions to the real estate profession, who have experienced a disaster or emergencyContributions are welcome at any time from AI individuals as well as anyone with a desire to provide assistance.

Professional Organizations

The Real Estate Institute, affiliated with Stony Brook University’s School of Business, serves as a respected spokesperson on contemporary issues and as a resource for professional career development through symposia, white papers, luncheons, course work and social media.

The Suffolk County Bar Association is one of the largest voluntary bar associations in the State, representing lawyers of Suffolk County.  For over a century, the organization and the legal profession it represents has assisted the community through charitable services, pro bono representation, scholarship programs and legal education.
